Sunday Services

As we return more and more to in person worship services, we’ll be at St. Oswald’s at 9:30 and All Saints at 11:15 each Sunday morning.

 

We also have a once a month ‘Sunday Special’ service, where both churches meet together, alternating between our two buildings, to celebrate God’s goodness in lively, family friendly setting – will you come a long and give it a go? The next one will be Sunday 7th December in St. Oswald’s.

 

Midweek Prayer and Communion:

We open All Saints each Wednesday morning at 10:30 for half an hour’s quiet, reflective prayer, followed by a simple commmunion service at 11am, it’s a lovely way to notice God in our lives in the middle of the week.

Also, once a month, a few of us gather specifically to pray for the life of the church and the world – why not come along and join us?

Sunday Evening Worship

Once a month we gather together for a much more informal time of worship, when we love to think about what it is to do faith and life together in community. We meet on the second Sunday of each month, at 6:30pm in St. Oswald’s.

Growing Together

Since  May 2024, we’ve been building on the success of recent family events like the pancake party to try out a special monthly service specially for children and families to come and enjoy being together to think about what it means for us all to grow not just physically, but spiritually as well. It’ll be loads of fun, and we’re going to do it every month on the second Saturday of the month, 4pm at St. Oswalds. The next one is our Christmas special on the 14th December, at the earlier time of 3pm.

Pop up Pantry 

Thanks to our Friends at InnChurches  it’s great to be able to offer low cost food to anyone from the community who might be able to make use of it, as well as an opportunity for a cup of tea and a chat. We open the pantry at All Saints each Thursday at 12:30, and ask £4 for a bag of shopping, which includes an optional contribution to credit union savings account. In order to make what we have go round everyone who might like some, we do ask that customers only take one of any particular item. The range of what we have varies week by week, but there’s always a selection of fresh and store cupboard food to keep you going!
